# Resume task

Resume a paused import task. A successful response does not return the task status. Please check the details again to confirm the progress.

## Before you call this API

Configure the [regional API endpoint and authentication](https://omnifabric.cloudsigma.com/docs/developer/endpoints-and-authentication.html.md), and select the target workspace.

First [query task details](https://omnifabric.cloudsigma.com/docs/reference/api/ai-studio/data-connections/import-tasks/get-import-task.html.md) to confirm that the task has been suspended.

Set the operation-specific values used in the request:

- `$TASK_ID`: Task ID to be restored.

## Successful response

Returns `200` on success and `data` is `null`. Continue to query task status and running records to confirm actual progress.
