Choose a task

Task	Description
Upload a knowledge-base source file	Save a local source file; upload success does not mean the content is retrievable.
Stage files for a new knowledge base	Upload a file before creation, then bind its ID as a local_file source.
Inspect added sources and their status	Paginated query of data sources and their processing status in the knowledge base.
Preview sources before adding them	Preview the number of deduplicated files and tables before selecting a source by database or volume.
Preview sources before creation	Preview file and table counts without creating a knowledge base or processing tasks.
Check for duplicate sources	Checks whether the requested catalog file and table already exist in the knowledge base as a data source.
Append knowledge-base sources	Append sources to a knowledge base; request success does not mean parsing or indexing is complete.
Repair legacy source records	Repair legacy management records only when requested, without re-uploading or re-importing data.
Change source governance settings	Change tags, expiration, or enabled state, subject to source-specific settings and prerequisites.
Remove a knowledge-base source	Removes a source from the knowledge base; the original Catalog table or file is not deleted.
