Inspect document segments and versions

Query the current segment version, index version, and segment content of a source document.

Read a source file

Preview the original files associated with the knowledge base as a binary stream.

Read parsed image artifacts

Preview the products generated by knowledge base file parsing, such as parsing images, in a binary stream.

Import the initial segments

Import initial segments against the current version baseline; mismatches reject the write.

Add a content segment

Creates a segment in the source’s current segment version.

Edit segment content

Updates the contents of the specified section.

Control segment retrieval eligibility

Update the enabled status of the specified segment and control whether the segment participates in retrieval.

Remove a segment

Irreversibly remove a segment from the source’s current version.

Recompute segment vectors

Submit segment vectorization, then inspect source or task state to confirm the result.

Select the current segment version

Switch an existing segment version to the source current version.
