Alert Logs¶
Alert Logs record alerts triggered by OmniFabric rules. The default retention period for alert logs is one month.
Search alert logs¶
Open OmniFabric > Alerting > Alert Logs.
Enter a rule ID or rule expression in the search field when you need to find a specific rule.
Select a start time and end time to limit the search period.
Enable Auto refresh when you need the list to update automatically.
Review the matching rows in the table.
The table includes the Alert Log ID, Alert Time, and Alert Rule ID, together with additional details available in the current console. Open a record to inspect the trigger and use its alert time to compare the event with Monitoring and Events.
If the expected record does not appear, confirm that the rule was enabled, the selected time range includes the trigger time, and the record is still within the one-month retention period.
