Alerting

Use OmniFabric > Alerting to define how CloudSigma detects database instance conditions, identify notification recipients, and review alert history.

Alerting contains three pages:

Page	Purpose
Alert Rules	View and manage the conditions that trigger alerts
Contacts	Maintain the recipients used by alert rules
Alert Logs	Search alerts that have already been triggered

A typical setup sequence is:

1. Create or verify the required contacts.

2. Create an alert rule and select its notification recipients.

3. Enable the rule.

4. Use Alert Logs to confirm that the rule triggered as expected.

5. Review Monitoring and Events for the same time period when investigating the cause.
